Russian stocks may fall dragged by worsened foreign background

MOSCOW, Mar 6 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may decrease at the opening on Wednesday dragged by a deterioration of the foreign background, analysts said.

“We expect the MOEX Russia Index to open with a moderate decline of around 0.3%, near the mark of 2,460 points. The nearest support levels will be at 2,450 and 2,440 points. The main resistance will be at 2,470 and 2,480 points,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.

Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures are demonstrating a moderate decrease within 0.3%, Brent oil futures fell 0.8%, Japan’s Nikkei225 decreased 0.7%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 0.4%, the analyst said.
